Testo, Accordi e Tablatura per Chitarra di Comfortably Numb – Pink Floyd
Tratta dallo storico album The Wall, Comfortably Numb ne è una delle tracce più rilevanti. Contrariamente allo standard dei Pink Floyd (che vuole Roger Waters come compositore), la musica di questa canzone è stata quasi completamente scritta da David Gilmour, che inizialmente voleva inciderla nel suo primo album solista, ma poi cambiò idea. Il testo si rifà all’esperienza di Waters quando, durante il Tour del 1977, salì sul palco a Philadelphia imbottito di tranquillanti sotto disposizione del suo dottore. “Furono le due ore più lunghe della mia vita, suonai senza avere neppure la forza di solevare un braccio” ha poi dichiarato.
Gli assoli di chitarra di Gilmour, ed il secondo in particolare, sono considerati dai fan di tutto il mondo l’archetipo dell’assolo rock.
