Know Your Enemy è il primo singolo estratto dall’ottavo album studio dei Green Day, 21st Century Breakdown (2009). E’ stato composto come incitamento contro ogni forma di apatia, ed ha ricevuto molte recensioni in cui viene riconosciuto un ritorno alle origini del sound del gruppo, quasi come se Know Your Enemy fosse un outtake dal loro album del 1993 Dookie senza però fare a meno dei contenuti politici degli album più recenti.
