E’ stata resa celebre dalla versione cantata da Dionne Warwick assieme a Elton John, Stevie Wonder e Gladys Knight (Dionne Warwick & Friends) nel 1985 per scopi benefici, il cui ricavato ha finanziato la Fondazione americana per la ricerca sull’AIDS.
Ha ricevuto due Grammy Awards, per la miglior performance vocale di un gruppo (ai suoi interpreti) e per la canzone dell’anno (ai suoi compositori).
