Slither è il singolo d’esordio dei Velvet Revolver, primo estratto dall’album Contraband nel 2004. E’ considerato il brano di maggior successo della band per via del primo posto in entrambe le classifiche Mainstream Rock Tracks (per 9 settimane consecutive) e Modern Rock Charts.
E’ valsa, ai Grammy Awards 2005, un riconoscimento quale “Miglior performance hard rock”.
