Everlong è un singolo del 1997 dei Foo Fighters, secondo estratto dal loro secondo album The Colour And The Shape nonchè uno dei loro maggiori successi.
E’ molto apprezzata (e richiesta ai concerti) dai fan l’arrangiamento acustico del brano, concepita per la prima volta durante un’esibizione acustica per lo show radiofonico americano di Howard Stern; nel 2009 tale versione è comparsa sul Greates Hits del gruppo. Non soltanto, sono state incise numerose cover, molte simili all’originale ma anche una versione per archi (dal The Vitamin String Quartet) ed una hardcore (dagli Evergreen Terrace).
E’ stata usata in numerosi videogiochi musicali tra cui Guitar Hero e Rock Band.
