My Way: Video

My Way è la rivisitazione in lingua inglese di una canzone francese dal titolo Comme D'Abitude. Sull'aria del pezzo, Paul Anka ha scritto il testo che Frank Sinatra ha poi cantato. Lo stesso Paul Anka, a Parigi nel 1967 acquistò a costo zero i diritti del pezzo (non era affatto popolare come poi sarebbe divenuto) e lo propose a Sinatra. Il testo di Anka descrive i pensieri di un uomo in fin di vita che, fiero di tutto ciò che ha fatto o realizzato, ribadisce di aver sempre agito e di continuare a farlo "a modo suo". Inutile dire che ad oggi è considerato un classico della musica di tutti i tempi.
