More Than A Feeling fu il primo singolo estratto dall'eponimo album dei Boston, rock band americana originaria della città da cui prendevano il nome. Era il 1976. E' considerato a tutti gli effetti un classico del rock di sempre, classificato nel 2009 dal canale televisivo musicale americano VH1 come 39esimo tra le 100 migliori canzoni hard rock di tutti i tempi. Fu scritta dal leader e fondatore del gruppo, Tom Scholz, il quale impiegò circa 5 anni per giungere alla sua stesura definitiva. Lo stesso Scholz che nel 2008 dichiarò guerra al candidato repubblicano alle elezioni presidenziali, reo questi di aver abusato di More Than A Feeling come colonna sonora di tutta la sua campagna elettorale, senza l'autorizzazione dell'autore stesso, basandosi piuttosto sul consenso di Barry Goudreau, uno dei chitarristi del gruppo all'epoca del successo ma che presto (1979) fu cacciato per questioni legali. In tempi più recenti il brano ha fatto da soundtrack a moltissimi film di produzione hollywoodiana, tra i quali Babe Va In Città (1998), Madagascar 2 (2008), L'Uomo Che Fissava Le Capre (2009), Burlesque (2010).
