Born To Be Alive: Video

Born To Be Alive è un classico della canzone disco-pop, composto ed inciso nel 1978 dal francese Patrick Hernandez. Il singolo, title-track dell'eponimo album, ha spopolato nel mercato musicale di mezzo mondo (almeno disco d'oro in 50 paesi, senza considerare tutti i dischi di platino, diamante ecc.) e soprattutto in Francia, dove rimane tutt'oggi una delle hit più grandi di tutti i tempi. Il brano è stato riproposto in numerosissime versioni, tra le quali spiccano quella dei Los Nikis (gruppo punk spagnolo che ha ricantato l'intera canzone sulle sole quattro parole "Me voy a Benidorm"), dei Necromantix (allucinogeno gruppo psychobilly danese) e quella di Roberto Blanco ed i Disco Boys del 2001. Ad esse si aggiunge quella, senz'altro più originale, dell'attore italiano Paolo Kessisoglu, che nel 2010 ha inciso una cover acustica utilizzata come colonna sonora del film Immaturi (2011).
