Mr. Tambourine Man è una canzone scritta ed incisa da Bob Dylan nel 1965 con l'album Bringing It All Back Home. E' considerata una tra le più evocative e poetiche di tutto il repertorio di Dylan. La canzone venne immediatamente coverizzata dal gruppo folk rock The Byrds, in seguito al rilascio di una demo da parte di Bob Dylan, e fu così che il singolo dei Byrds uscì nel 1964, precedendo di un anno la versione originale. Tale cover divenne la title-track dell'album del gruppo ed ebbe più successo di quanto ne avrebbe riscosso l'anno dopo la versione originale. La rivista Rolling Stone ha incluso entrambe le versioni nella lista tra le 500 migliori canzoni di tutti i tempi.
