Brano prevalentemente strumentale, Phantom Of The Opera è un magnifico pout-pourri heavy metal ricco di spunti, di riff di chitarra molto azzeccati e di assoli altrettanto interessanti. Testo e musica sono stati scritti da Steve Harris, ispirandosi al romanzo del francese Gaston Leroux.
