Rilasciata come singolo nel 1980, Ace Of Spades è la title track dell’album pubblicato dai Motorhead lo stesso anno. E’ considerata l’apice musicale della band inglese, tanto che riuscì ad ottenere un notevole successo anche nella classifica del Regno Unito e fu suonata live durante una puntata di Top Of The Pops. La tv americana VH1 ha classificato Ace Spades al decimo posto sia tra le migliori canzoni hard rock di tutti i tempi che tra quelle metal. La rivista Q invece l’ha inserita al 27esimo posto tra le 100 migliori tracce di chitarra.
