Scritta da Noel Gallagher, Stand By Me è stato il secondo singolo rilasciato dal terzo album studio degli Oasis, Be Here Now. Il testo prende spunto da un intossicamento alimentare che afflisse il chitarrista del gruppo. Fu un successo ed il singolo nel 1997 divenne disco d'oro ma, strano a dirsi, proprio perchè lo stesso Noel non va fiero dell'album Be Here Now, la canzone è suonata raramente durante i loro concerti.
