Fernando è un brano composto e inciso dagli Abba, pubblicato come singolo in 45 giri nel 1976. Canzone scritta da Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson e il produttore Stig Anderson, nasceva non per l'intera band svedese ma per il progetto solista di Anni-Frid Lyngstad, in arte Frida. Il titolo iniziale era Tango e mette in scena una vecchia storia d'amore che il protagonista, un certo Fernando, ricorda pensando alla sua esperienza come soldato in guerra. Guerra che può essere la Rivoluzione messicana del 1910 o la Guerra civile spagnola del 1936... nessuno lo ha mai chiarito.
