Sweetest Thing: Video

Sweetest Thing è un brano del 1987 degli U2, rilasciato in un primo tempo come B-Side del singolo Where The Streets Have No Name, ma successivamente reinciso e ripubblicato come singolo a parte nel 1998, in occasione dell'uscita della compilation The Best Of 1980-1990. La canzone, come poi suggerisce lo stesso videoclip, è stata scritta da Bono per scusarsi con la moglie Ali Hewson, dato che durante il periodo di registrazione di The Joshua Tree aveva dimenticato di farle gli auguri per il suo compleanno. Così, la stessa Ali ha preteso che tutti i proventi del singolo fossero donati all'associazione benefica a favore dei bambini colpiti dal disastro nucleare di Chernobyl.
