Nono disco di inediti per la band di Liverpool, si tratta della colonna sonora dell'omonimo film a puntate realizzato per la televisione britannica. La canzone è tra le più conosciute del loro repertorio e porta la firma di John Lennon; lo "Strawberry Field" che cita nel testo in realtà era un orfanotrofio vicino alla sua casa natale.
