Take Five: Video

Take Five è un brano inciso dalla jazz band capitanata da Dave Brubeck, chiamata appunto The Dave Brubeck Quartet, contenuto nell'album Time out, pubblicato nel 1959. Disco di importanta storica in quanto è stato il primo lavoro discografico di stampo jazzistico ad aver venduto più di un milione di copie, un successo clamoroso. Il brano pare che sia stato composto da tutta la band ma come autore figura solamente Paul Desmond, sassofonista. Uno dei classici del repertorio Jazz, in tempo di 5/4. Lo spartito qui trascritto non è altro che la versione cantata da Carmen McRae.
