I Got a Woman è un brano scritto e interpretato dal grandissimo Ray Charles, pubblicato prima come singolo nel 1954 poi inserito nell'album eponimo del 1957. Il grande pianista statunitense prende spunto da un pezzo dei Southern Tones, dal titolo I Must Be Jesus, ascoltato alla radio durante un tour estivo. Quello che esce fuori è un vero e proprio prototipo di quella che sarà chiamata poi la musica Soul, fusione tra il blues e il gospel.
