Green River è un brano composto e inciso dai Creedence Clearwater Revival, contenuto nell'album omonimo pubblicato nel 1969. Terzo lavoro in studio per la band californiana, nasce sull'onda dell'entusiasmo per il grande successo riscosso con il precedente Bayou Country che era uscito appena sei mesi prima. La canzone è il "pezzo traino" del LP e, come le altre, porta la firma del frontman John Fogerty; è dedicata ad un luogo legato all'infanzia di Fogerty stesso, Putah Creek, nei pressi di Winters.
