Pictures Of You è il brano estratto come quarto ed ultimo singolo dall’album dei Cure Disintegration, del 1989. Lo stesso singolo consiste in una versione molto ristretta dell’originale inciso sull’album, con 4 minuti e 48 contro 7:24.
La canzone è nata in seguito ad un incendio scoppiato in casa di Robert Smith il quale, tornato il giorno seguente sul luogo per prelevare gli oggetti di valore, è stato colpito da alcune foto della moglie Mary scampate all’incendio; una di queste è stata utilizzata come immagine di copertina dello stesso singolo.
La rivista Rolling Stone, nel 2004, l’ha classificata 278esima tra la più belle canzoni di tutti i tempi.
