Green Fields of France: Video

Green Fields of France è un brano inciso dal gruppo folk The Fureys, pubblicato come singolo nel 1979. Canzone che nasce nel 1976 con il titolo No Man's Land, fu scritta dal cantautore scozzese Eric Bogle ed è una forte protesta contro la guerra: Bogle la compone dopo essersi imbattuto in una tomba di un soldato (un certo Willie McBride), morto nel 1916 durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale in Francia. La versione più nota al pubblico è sicuramente quella della band irlandese. Buon divertimento!
