Disco d'esordio da solista per l'artista inglese (ex Genesis), passerà alla storia col nome di Car grazie alla "Lancia Flavia" sulla copertina. La canzone è una tra le più conosciute del suo repertorio, primo singolo estratto dal disco: è una ballata in stile folk in 7/4. Il riff di chitarra acustica è diventato il vero tormentone del pezzo.
