2 Minutes to Midnight è un brano composto e inciso dagli Iron Maiden, contenuto nell'album Powerslave pubblicato nel 1984. Quinto lavoro in studio per la band londinese, è considerato una delle pietre miliari del Metal internazionale tant'è che la rivista Rolling Stone lo posiziona trentottesimo tra i migliori cento. La canzone è il primo singolo estratto dal disco e porta la firma del chitarrista Adrian Smith e quella del cantante Bruce Dickinson; dedicata al cosiddetto "Orologio dell'apocalisse", inventato nel 1947 per segnare la fine del mondo.
