Green, Green Grass of Home è un brano reinterpretato e inciso da Tom Jones, nato Thomas John Woodward, versione contenuta nell'album omonimo pubblicato nel 1966. Terzo lavoro in studio per il cantante gallese, viene realizzato dopo un anno ricco di grandi successi internazionali... tanto da aggiudicarsi il Grammy Award! Anche questo pezzo si rivelò decisamente vincente: si tratta di un classico del genere country scritto nel 1965 da Curly Putman, cantautore dell'Alabama, che racconta il suo ritorno alla vecchia casa natia.
