Gimme Three Steps è un brano composto e inciso dai Lynyrd Skynyrd, contenuto nell'album (Pronounced 'Leh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd) pubblicato nel 1973. Disco d'esordio per la band della Florida, è il frutto del fortunato incontro con il produttore di New York Al Kooper, nato Alan Peter Kuperschmidt, che si innamorò del gruppo ad un concerto del 1972. La canzone porta le firme del frontman Ronnie Van Zant e del chitarrista Allen Collins; il testo racconta di una triste vicenda vissuta dallo stesso Van Zant, il quale si vide puntare una pistola contro per aver ballato con una ragazza già fidanzata!
