Don't Cry for Me Argentina è un brano celebre reinterpretato magistralmente da Veronica Ciccone, meglio conosciuta come Madonna, pubblicato come singolo nel 1997. Canzone che risale al 1976, fu scritta da Andrew Lloyd Webber e Tim Rice per far parte del bellissimo musical Evita. Esattamente vent'anni più tardi il regista londinese Alan Parker decise di trasformare lo spettacolo teatrale in un film, in cui Madonna interpretava appunto Evita Perón. Il testo mette in scena il momento del famoso discorso dal balcone di Casa Rosada.
