Mandela Day è un brano composto e inciso dai Simple Minds, contenuto nell'album Street Fighting Years pubblicato nel 1989. Ottavo disco di inediti per la band di Glasgow, è tra i loro dischi più riusciti ed è l'ultimo insieme al tastierista Michael MacNeil, cofondatore del gruppo nel lontano 1977. La canzone è l'ottava traccia dell'album e nasce in occasione dei settant'anni di Nelson Mandela, festeggiati con un concerto evento a Wembley l'11 giugno 1988. Un testo che è rimasto attuale tutt'oggi!
