Crime of the Century è un brano composto e inciso dai Supertramp, contenuto nell'album omonimo pubblicato nel 1974. Terza fatica discografica per la band prog britannica, ha come produttore Ken Scott appena reduce da ottime esperienze in studio con i Beatles prima e David Bowie poi. La canzone, che dà il titolo al disco, è la traccia di chiusura del lato B: cantata da Rick Davies, è una critica contro la corruzione e l'alienazione come strumento dei potenti contro le popolazioni... anch'esse complici di questo crimine autodistruttivo!
