Schism è un brano composto e inciso dai Tool, contenuto nell'album Lateralus pubblicato nel 2001. Terzo lavoro in studio per la band statunitense, scaturisce da ben cinque anni di lotte giudiziarie con la vecchia casa discografica e il risultato è un disco modernamente progressive. La canzone è il primo singolo estratto e si aggiudica un Grammy Award, forse il brano che più racchiude lo spirito prog di tutto l'album.
