45 è il singolo scritto dal cantante e compositore degli Shinedown Brent Smith, rilasciato con l'album Leave A Whisper (2003) ed in seguito in versione acustica nella seconda edizione, l'anno seguente, dello stesso disco. Il termine 45 si riferisce alla pistola Colt automatica .45 e, sebbene questo argomento sia in parte stato smentito da Smith stesso, nel testo della canzone aleggia il tema del suicidio. È stato proprio questo aspetto a far si che MTV non ne passasse il video: è stato chiesto al gruppo di cambiare le parole del ritornello, ma i quattro hanno rifiutato.
