Eleanor Rigby: Video

Eleanor Rigby è una canzone scritta da Paul McCartney e rilasciata nel 1966 con l'album dei Beatles Revolver nonchè come B-side del singolo Yellow Submarine. Lo stesso McCartney la compose al pianoforte, con il provvisorio titolo "Miss Daisy Hawkins" (cambiava cioè il nome della protagonista del testo). La strumentazione del brano è composta da soli archi, ed infatti nessuno dei Beatles suona, fatta eccezione per canto e backing vocals: la traccia venne registrata da un ottetto di archi composto da quattro violini, due viole e due violoncelli agli Abbey Road Studios.
