Positively 4th Street è un brano scritto e inciso da Robert Allen Zimmerman, noto come Bob Dylan, pubblicato in singolo nel 1965 e che il cantautore del Minnesota realizza dopo lo straordinario successo di Like a Rolling Stone, staccandosi dalla figura di artista prettamente folk e sperimentando un nuovo sound elettrico; il testo, infatti, pare si riferisca ai suoi detrattori dell'epoca che lo criticarono aspramente per tali scelte artistiche. Il titolo ci porta nel quartiere di New York "Greenwich Village", simbolo del cantautorato folk di sinistra.
