Rocky Road to Dublin: Video

Rocky Road to Dublin è un classico del repertorio folk irlandese, interpretato anche da uno dei più illustri interpreti di questo genere musicale: Luke Kelly, che la incise nel 1973. Canzone che risale a metà Ottocento, quando nasceva dalla penna del poeta D. K. Gavan, diventa molto popolare grazie alle prime interpretazioni del cantante di Dublino Harry Clifton. Il testo racconta il viaggio di un uomo dalla casa natale in Irlanda verso il porto di Liverpool in cerca di fortuna: un'avventura piena di difficoltà!
