Pinball Wizard: Video

Fu scritta dal chitarrista Pete Townshend ed incisa dai Who nel 1969 col loro album Tommy, dal quale venne estratto come singolo che raggiungse la quarta posizione nelle classifiche inglesi e la 19esima in quelle americane. La B-side dello stesso singolo conteneva un brano strumentale probabilmente composto dal batterista Keith Moon il quale, sebbene intitolato "Dogs Part 2", non aveva niente a che vedere col loro precedente singolo "Dogs" (1968). A detta dello stesso compositore Pinball Wizard (il cui testo narra le gesta un fenomeno del flipper) si tratta di una delle canzoni più goffe da egli mai concepite, che però riscosse un ottimo successo commerciale e divenne uno dei pezzi preferiti dal pubblico ai loro concerti, e quindi immancabile. Tra i più noti che hanno reinterpretato Pinball Wizard si citano Elton John (in occasione dell'adattamento teatrale di Tommy, 1975), Rod Stewart (il quale reincise l'album in versione orchestrale), i Guns 'n Roses (live), i Tenacious D ed addirittura la Ukulele Orchestra Of Great Britain, che la esegue a pressochè tutti i propri concerti da anni.
