Plateau è un brano reinterpretato dai Nirvana, la cui versione è contenuta nell'album MTV Unplugged in New York pubblicato nel 1994. Si tratta di un disco live che ospita la registrazione del concerto acustico della band di Aberdeen, andato in scena il 18 novembre 1993 negli studi della Sony a New York. La canzone risale al 1984 quando nasceva dalla penna del cantautore statunitense Curt Kirkwood; fu inciso nello stesso anno dalla sua band dell'Arizona "Meat Puppets".
