Sam Song è un brano reinterpretato e inciso dalla Banda Bassotti, contenuto nell'album Así es mi vida pubblicato nel 2003. Si tratta del loro sesto lavoro in studio, disco che la band romana vuole dedicare ai tanti repertori popolari sparsi nel mondo; solo la title-track è un inedito e trae spunto da un componimento di Pablo Neruda. Questa canzone invece porta la firma del cantautore irlandese Gerry O'Glacain ed è il simbolo della lotta per l'indipendenza nordirlandese.
